I am a lifelong artist, inspired by my grandfather, who also had a creative flair. After earning my BFA from the University of Hartford, I explored many different forms of art. But it wasn’t until the winter of 2020—during the quiet and uncertainty of COVID—that I discovered my true calling and began Created From The Sea.

Working with shells reignited my passion. Their detail became my meditation and joy.

Beach walks inspire me—nature’s art reveals itself: a worn whelk becomes a giraffe’s neck, lady slippers hint at fish scales, mussels turn to feathers, scallops to fins. Moon shells shape heads, or become eyes. Commissions lead me to select shells that guide my imagination.

Each piece reflects the sea’s endless creativity and mine.
